DO NOT! OH MY HEART

Do not crawl back into the
embrace of a broken
love like a drink after days
in the desert and a fire after a
dozen long cold night;
for even though the bruise
had faded, the memories
hadn’t.

Do not be caught up in the
sweet hands of duniyah
misted with dews and its
fragile fragrance of wildflowers;
nor let it hook you in its
arms like a groom would
his bride.

Do not let the guilt and
impotent feeling of betrayal
crack your composure. Dig
deep and fight out the
desperation, for all you need
is trust to love again.

Do not let the myriad of
emotions you feel break
you easily nor whittle you
down; for when the heart
breaks, the body fails.

Do not give a quick vulnerable
response to the likes of
bitterness, hatred or grudge
for what could be more
appealing than a pure heart
which brings nothing but good
.

So, Glad Tidings to the ones who adhere to Tazkiyah

IT’S THE FIRST DAY OF SHAWWAL!! TAQABALALLAHU MINNA WA MINKUM!

As we wake up feeling so right
and seeing the familiar faces
in our never ending sea of lies,
that even a flower whose
color have turned to different shades
of grey begins to change
We say: TaqabalaLLahu Minna Wa Minkum!

Entering the day with a smile
on our faces and with our hearts
filled with fufilment and joy,
as we look beyond the appearance
and circumstances
We say: TaqabalaLLahu Minna Wa Minkum!

As the light of happiness
radiates in each one of us,
burning with delight as it lays
deep inside of us, guarded
by bones and muscles with
nothing to blow it out but ourselves
We say: TaqabalaLLahu Minna Wa Minkum!

What we feel today cannot be
defined, something that cannot
be denied, something of true divine.
So together in supine mode
We say: TaqabalaLLahu Minna Wa Minkum!

We pray to Allah to not make this
our last Ramadan on earth
and may He accept all of our good
deeds in this month as an
act of Ibaadah. (Aameen)
TaqabalaLLahu Minna Wa Minkum!

AN-NOOR (THE LIGHT)

AN-NOOR (THE LIGHT)
The one who places into our hearts
and souls light, let it shine
within and beyond.

AN-NOOR (THE LIGHT)
The one who magnifies for us
light, guide us unto the right
path and amplify for us Your Noor.

AN-NOOR (THE LIGHT)
The one who brightens our faces
with light, make for us a light in
our grave and let our bones be
filled with Your Noor.

AN-NOOR (THE LIGHT)
The one who lights up the darkest
of minds, radiating in them
rays of hope and taqwa. Make for
us light in our darkest days.

AN-NOOR (THE LIGHT)
The one who places light in our
body, skin, nerves and blood. Increase
us in light and grant us light
upon light.

AN-NOOR (THE LIGHT)
Let Your Noor ease into our every
being, for in Your light we find
complete tranquility.
