It is not impossible to find among those commited to the deviant methodology of the Ikhwaanees individuals to whom the truth is just not clear. Those are wrong but truly ignorant even if it be inexcusably – the type you could say are sincerely committed to error.

It is however impossible to understand, let alone excuse, individuals who ever so proudly flaunt their close association with the great Sunnah scholars of our time but claim not to know of their ever strong opposition to the Ikhwaanee deviancy and scheming in Muslim lands. After all, the books and tapes of those scholars are full of clear and loud condemnation of the group’s manhaj so much that the lack of reference to them at all by those individuals proves to be a deliberate mischievous choice, which makes it all the more insincere.

One is left with just one conclusion: The people trusted them for guidance in their Deen and they chose to be deceptive and treacherous.

Treachery is certainly worse than acting on ignorance, and to Allah we complain and in His words we find hope in the face of all name calling targeted at those who truly echo the scholars and establish the truth in this matter. And there is solace in Allah’s words:

إِنَّ ٱلۡبَـٰطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقࣰا
[Surat Al-Isra’ 81]

“Surely! Batil (falsehood) is ever bound to vanish.”
